TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE

Bookuet Booklub

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases made through the Bookuet Booklub website. By placing an order, you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms.


1. GENERAL

1.1 All prices are displayed in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Bookuet Booklub reserves the right to amend prices, product details, promotions, and these Terms at any time without prior notice.
1.3 Orders will only be processed upon successful payment confirmation.


2. PRE-ORDER POLICY

2.1 Pre-order items refer to products that are not immediately available and are subject to production.
2.2 Estimated completion and delivery timelines are indicative only and may vary due to:

  • Printing and production processes
  • Manufacturing queue and scheduling
  • Logistics and distribution factors
    2.3 The Customer acknowledges and agrees to the waiting period associated with pre-order items.
    2.4 No cancellation is permitted once the production process has commenced.

3. PAYMENT TERMS

3.1 Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
3.2 Payments must be made via the approved payment gateways provided on the website (e.g., ToyyibPay, FPX, etc.).
3.3 Orders without successful payment will not be processed.


4. REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

4.1 All sales are final. No refunds, cancellations, or exchanges will be entertained except under the following circumstances:

  • The item is unavailable due to reasons attributable to Bookuet Booklub
  • Proven error on the part of Bookuet Booklub
    4.2 Refund requests, if applicable, are subject to review and approval at the sole discretion of Bookuet Booklub.
    4.3 No refunds will be issued for:
  • Pre-order items that have entered production
  • Orders that have been processed or shipped

5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

5.1 Orders will be dispatched in batches to ensure efficient tracking and minimize loss.
5.2 Customers will receive an Air Waybill (AWB) number via SMS or email upon shipment.
5.3 Delivery timelines are subject to courier service performance and external factors beyond our control.
5.4 Bookuet Booklub shall not be liable for delays caused by courier services.


6. DELAYS

6.1 Delays may occur due to, but not limited to:

  • Change of manufacturing facility
  • Delays in manuscript submission or approval
  • Multiple-stage production processes (e.g., separate hardcase printing)
  • Extended Purchase Order (PO) processing
    6.2 Bookuet Booklub will provide updates through official communication channels where applicable.

7. LOSS OR DAMAGE

7.1 Bookuet Booklub shall not be held liable for any loss or damage occurring after the parcel has been handed over to the courier.
7.2 Assistance may be provided to initiate inquiries with the courier; however, resolution is subject to the courier’s policies.


8. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

8.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring that all personal and delivery information provided is accurate and complete.
8.2 Bookuet Booklub shall not be responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information provided by the Customer.


9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

9.1 All content, including but not limited to books, designs, and materials, are protected by copyright laws.
9.2 Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or sharing (including digital formats such as PDFs or eBooks) is strictly prohibited.


10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

10.1 Bookuet Booklub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or purchase of products.
10.2 Liability, if any, shall be limited to the purchase amount paid by the Customer.


11. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By placing an order, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, including the Pre-Order and No Refund Policy.
